Who is Kawaja Abondio?


(2nd May, 2013) - Legends come, and they go. But, certainly, legacy remains behind.

For the ‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson, an American singer-songwriter, his music accomplishment and inspiration found its way down to a young man in Yei, causing him to pursue a carrier in music.

And this young man is Kwaja Abondio, a Dancehall singer.

Mr Kwaja is one of the popular musicians in South Sudan with hits like Gbunya Gbunya to his name.

Radio Miraya’s Beat Presenter Moro Lokombu sat up with him for an interview and below are the excerpts.
