"Sports is a key to unity, especially the youth, it also says health body give in health mind. That is why we thought it's good if we can practice that throughout in school and even at home. I feel that there is a need for us to establish a centre were we can train our teachers so that they can be able to manage games and sports in South Sudan. – as one of the themes says: "unity, friendship and harmony."

Meanwhile Lakes State Minister of Information and Communication, Charles Badiri Mayan, said the successful conclusion of the inter-school tournament should be proof that Lakes State - which has a history of inter-tribal conflicts - is now safe.
