(3rd July, 2013) - The Bahr El Ghazal University administration said tuition fees will be increased in the coming year due to inadequate resources.
The Academic Secretary, Koul Pal Deng. told Radio Miraya that a decision has been taken by the University’s Board of Directors.
He added that as a result of insufficient full-time academic staff, the increased revenue from student fees will help pay for part-time lecturers.
“We have proposed the solution for them, we have proposed to recruit part timers, and each college has presented its needs on how to meet the part-timers needs to carry out their teaching successfully,” he said.
